On August 4, the Beijing Internet Court announced a verdict of Angelababy and Zhang Rongcui’s network infringement liability dispute. The verdict showed that the official account "New Entertainment Little Prince" used to profit from traffic and obtained commercial resources.
It has been fabricating false news about Angelababy for a long time, which caused great damage to Angelababy's reputation. Therefore, Angelababy sued and demanded compensation from the defendant. The loss was 150,000 Yuan and there was also 200,000 Yuan for mental damage.
The official account once spread rumors about Angelababy and Kris Wu, saying that Angelababy had cheated on Kris Wu when recording a variety show, and another rumor said that Angelababy was dating Kris Wu late at night.
In the end, the court ruled that Angelababy won the lawsuit and demanded the defendant to apologize publicly and compensate Angelababy 60,000 Yuan in damages and fees.
