Jia Ling (贾玲) is a Chinese xiangsheng performer, comedian, actress, director and screenwriter who was born on April 29, 1982, in Yicheng, Xiangyang, Hubei Province. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama and rose to fame after appearing at the 2010 Spring Festival Gala.
Some of her notable works include Hi, Mom and My People, My Homeland. She is also the star, director and co-writer of the Chinese box office sensation Hi, Mom, which surpassed the 1.3 billion yuan earned in 2018 by René Liu’s directorial.
